As the son of a sculptor and modern Renaissance Man, I grew up working with my hands, developing an appreciation for form and function. After my undergrad years in Vermont, I moved to Boulder to start a career as a Green Building Consultant. As my career progressed, my thirst for a creative outlet grew. I began restoring vintage motorcycles in my spare time and fell in love with functional design, bred from constraints of space and weight.

After reading “Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry into the Value of Work,” I took a leap of faith, left my white-collar career, and started working for one of the premier van builders in Denver, CO. There, I honed my skills building practical, beautiful adventure vans, honoring the same balance of form and function that drew me to motorcycles years ago.

I pride myself on being a Jack Of All Trades with an eye for simplicity and functionality.
